About CCIS

CCIS (Child Care Information Services of Montour County) Helps families of all economic backgrounds find quality child care services.  Anyone can call the CCIS for information or referrals to other programs.  However, if you are interested in subsidy, you must apply for services in your home county. For information in Montour County, please call (570) 275-3996. We can provide you with information concerning Licensed and Registered day care sites, as well as information on other local and state agencies.  We do accept collect calls.  If you are not a resident of Montour County, and need more assistance, we can provide you with the number of the CCIS for your home county.  You can also call 1-877-4-PA-KIDS to find out child care information in your county.

Our Mission is this:   The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, through its Child Care Information Services Agencies, administers the Subsidized Child Day Care Program for low-income families and makes resource and referral services available to all citizens of Pennsylvania.

Child Care Information Services Agencies are dedicated to provide all services courteously, to help families receive all of the services for which they are eligible, and to help families access all needed resources in a community.
