Family Daycare Homes

Provider is registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW).
Care for up to six unrelated children in home setting.
Provider must attend at least 12 hours of training every 2 years.

Group Daycare Homes

Program is licensed by Pennsylvania DPW.
Care for up to 12 unrelated children with two caregivers.
Inspected prior to opening and annually for minimum health and safety standards.

Daycare Centers

Program is licensed by Pennsylvania DPW
Care for 12 or more unrelated children with various ratio requirements
Inspected prior to opening and annually for minimum health and safety standards
