Children

Subsidized child care is child care paid for by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) through a grant to the Montour County Commissioners. We must follow state guidelines to determine who is eligible. Parents a copay based on family size and income.

  1. Applicant must be working an average of 20 hours per week.  (If you are in an education or training program 10 hours of work and 10 hours of school can make up the 20 hour work requirement.)
  2. The gross family income* from all sources is under:
