Better Kid Care - Penn State Cooperative Extension's Better Kid Care Program provides educational materials and resources, satellite broadcasts, videos, and educational activities for child care providers, parents, and employers. For more information visit www.betterkidcare.psu.edu

Child Care Aware - A national initiative that helps parents and providers find their local child care resource and referral agency (CCR&R).  CCR&R agencies provide information about current market rates and can link providers with training opportunities and other resources. Child Care Consultants - Child Care Consultants, Inc. (CCC) is a nonprofit child care resource and referral agency serving parents, providers, employers, and the community in Central PA.  For more information visit www.childcareconsultants.org

Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition - The council works to improve the professional status of early childhood workers and helps to meet the growing need for qualified child care staff.  For more information visit www.cdacouncil.org

ECELS - A program responsible for all health and safety training and technical assistance in Pennsylvania, the PA Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (PA AAP) has operated the Early Childhood Linkage System (ECELS).  Known as Healthy Child Care Pennsylvania, ECELS provides health professional consultation, training, and technical assistance to improve early childhood education programs in the Commonwealth.  For more information visit www.paaap.org

Early Head Start National Resource Center - The EHS NRC works in partnership with the Infant/Toddler Specialists at the regionally based Quality improvement Centers (QIC's) to ensure that Early Head Start programs have information and training on "best practices" on a range of topics.  For more information visit www.ehsnrc.org

High/Scope Educational Research Foundation - An independent nonprofit research, development, training, and public advocacy organization with headquarters in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  Their mission is to improve the life chances of children and youth by promoting high-quality educational programs.  For more information visit www.highscope.org

KURC - Keystone University Research Corporation, a research and consulting organization, assists public and private agencies as well as businesses in gathering information and obtaining needed technical assistance to address their problems. For more information visit www.kurc.org

National Association for Family Child Care - NAFCC's focus is to provide technical assistance to family child care associations.  This assistance is provided through developing leadership and professionalism, addressing issues of diversity, and by promoting quality and professionalism through NAFCC's Family Child Care Accreditation.  For more information visit www.nafcc.org

National Child Care Information Center  - The National Child Care Information Center (NCCIC), is a resource that links information and people to complememnt, enhance, and promote the child care delivery system, workling to ensure that all children and families have access to high-quality comprehensive services.  For more information visit www.nccic.org

Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit - The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit offers services that an individual school or organization may not be able to conduct as economically. Although our primary service area consists of Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties in central Pennsylvania, the CSIU is ready to reach out to your school or organization regardless of your location.
